Mutual Aid to the Elk 4-09 Box
Wed, Nov 29th, 2017 3:36:00 am - Elk County Dispatched Fire Box 4-09 to Lake City Road in Spring Creek Twp. Elk Station 4 (Ridgway), Tanker 2-01 (Johnsonburg), Tanker 1 (AC Trentini) were on the initial dispatch. Engine 4-2 arrived to a fully involved working structure fire. Engine 4-4 set up at the end of the driveway and charged 5 inch supply Hose to Engine 4-2. Tanker 1 along with Tanker 4-01 and Tanker 2-01 dropped dump tanks at Engine 4-4 and began a Tanker Shuttle to supply the fire attack. Chief 4 then requested Tanker 19-2 (Sigel) Tanker 3-01 (Kersey) for additional water. Engine 1 was requested to respond to set up a fill site on Lake City Road. Engine 1 (LT Martinson) responded and had to use (4) ten foot hard tubes to reach a stream off of the bridge. Engine 1 Drafted with a 20 foot lift for over 5 hours and kept refilling the tankers. Once the Fire was extinguished command 4 released All Station 1 Units.
