The Brockway Volunteer Hose Company is always accepting new members.  No experience is necessary.

Now with the Junior Firefighter Program you can join the department at age 16. This programs helps you acquire the basic fundamentals of being a firefighter and giving you some hands-on practice before becoming an active firefighter. We encourage 16 year olds to apply, it’s a fun and rewarding experience. 

Feel free to stop in at the station anytime.  The members would be happy to answer any questions you may have or show you the equipment. The best time to stop in is Monday nights at 7pm during the siren test, or the company meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm.

Remember, not everyone wants to be on the front lines of an emergency...don't forget about all the other activities you could help with that keeps YOUR local fire department serving your community.
