Box 4-UNE Vehicle Fire

9/16/23 02:58 – Station 1 was alerted for mutual aid by the request of Chief 4 for a vehicle fire in the 4-UNE box. Chief 1 went enroute shortly after dispatch. Engine 1 (Lt. Martinson), Tanker 1 (Capt. J. Knox), and Fire Police all responded. Chief 1 arrived on scene and met with Chief 4. He observed a vehicle on fire in the trees, a result from a crash. Engine 1 and Tanker 1 were ordered to standby and to send crews forward to assist with suppression of the fire. Station 1 units were released after the fire was extinguished.
