Busy Day for Station 1
11/09/22 15:15 – Station 1 was alerted to box 15-C for a brush fire moving into the woods. Chief 1, Brush 1 (AC Reed) and Tanker 1 (PFF Whobrey) went enroute but quickly diverted back to station due to a structure fire, Brush 1 then responded to the 15-C box to assist with the brush fire.

11/09/22 15:20 – Station 1 was alerted to a working structure fire in the 4-E box, personnel quickly switched gears from getting ready for a brush fire to getting ready for a structure fire. Brush 1 returned to the station to drop interior firefighters off. Chief 1 quickly diverted to the structure fire. Engine 1 (Lt. Martinson) and Tanker 1 (PFF Whobrey) both responded to the structure fire. Assistant 4-1 arrived on scene and advising the structure was fully involved. Upon the arrival of Engine 1 the crew split, half assisting Engine Rescue 4 with fire attack and the other half taking Engine 1 to set up a fill site. Crews worked for a while to put the fire out. Once overhaul was complete and Station 1 units were no longer needed they went available.

11/09/22 17:28 – While operating at the structure fire, Brush 1 was requested for a forest fire in Benezette Elk County. Brush 1 (DC Trentini) responded along with Sykesville Brush 8 and Elk Utility 7-13 to assist and was later released.
